UNDERSTANDING YOUR CYCLE
A menstrual cycle begins on the first day of one period and continues up to the day before the next period begins. A few simple details can turn separate dates into a useful personal history.
For many adults, cycles commonly fall between 21 and 35 days, while bleeding often lasts between 2 and 7 days. Every woman has her own pattern, and that pattern can change during different stages of life.
This is the date ParentAura uses to begin a new cycle.
Count from the first day of bleeding through the last day.
Count from Day 1 of one period to the day before the next begins.
Several recorded cycles can show what is usual for you and what has changed.
